  • Seminar: Quo vadis Flamenco? at 2 pm, Cultural House Laikku
Choreographers, teachers, aficionados and festival representatives discuss the state of flamenco in Finland and visions for future collaboration
  • Catedral at 7 pm, Tampere Hall
In Catedral, the winner of the Best Performance at Seville’s renowned Bienal de Flamenco in 2016, Patricia Guerrero transforms the stage into a sacred, spiritually charged space. In this densely atmospheric world of phantoms, light and shadow, a woman battles her demons, raging against the religious and social constraints that paralyse her. Four dancers, three musicians, two opera singers and one flamenco singer create an explosive interplay of dance and live music.
In this show my dance has transformed in a very natural way. Catedral is the professional and personal liberation that I have needed to be able to break the rules of flamenco and create my own language.”
    – Patricia Guerrero
  • Tickets at 45 €
